Perot Gives Interview to Newsweek — No Comments

  1. Perot’s comments seemed to indicate he was wholly uninformed on the candidates. What a great recipe for making an endorsement.

  2. As a Perot, Perot, Nader, Nader voter [when not necessarily an official ‘United We Stand’ or ‘Reform Party’ member] I tell ya, both of these guys have faults! But they both can also ‘spot light the obvious’ on a regular basis.

MisCain on veterans. Right next door to Arid Zona is the Collie Fornia of Ahnold Schwarzenegger’s mentor, former Sandy Ego Mayor and Marine Corps Captain Pete Wilson. Under Wilson, Recalled and Disgraced Grey Davis, and now Der Arnold his fakey self, CALVETS and CDVA is widely known to be the worst agency in state government.

MisCain fully approves of these horrible, often illegal, veterans housing and health care programs! Hanoi Hilton Harry does not pay attention to the personal message of those of us other ‘inmates’ of these wasteful, if not even lethal, programs, whom have been there and known first hand of the tax supported horrors of Barstow, Yountville and Chula Vista cruelty campuses.

He might [must] be in a political posture for vote getting over stateman ship. After all he is postured as the ‘Maverick’ while acting as Mister Go Along, Status Quo Boy, Bush 43 Establishment Guy!

And Arizona Veterans program[s]? 2006/ 2007 saw a massive over haul of the state VA. Massive firings, from the top on down. NOT A PEEP from “Pro GI Guy” MacKKKain!

let us all remember the gift of ross perot to american politics, 8 years of bill clinton.

    Phil Sawyer responds:

    Are you a Republican, Will?

Let’s see here: Many Republicans say that Ross Perot was responsible for Bill Clinton’s election victories while many Democrats say that Ralph Nader was responsible for George W. Bush’s election victories.

Why should any of that (even if it was true) be of top importance to those of us who are “third party” and/or independent activists and voters?

Besides, as I have writing for a few years now, the GOP will be a minor-sized party by 2012 anyway. How ironic. The Democrats may begin to thank Ralph Nader for that – since the Bush-Cheney Administration of neo-conservatives has been the the trigger that began the implosion of the Republican Party.

  5. Thank you both, Will and Don, for your very kind comments. You are twisting my arm to go back there again.

Some time ago, I had withdrawn from Third Party Watch because, as a leftist (a Left Conservative, to be more accurate), I was thinking that I was way outnumbered by the conservatives of the Constitution, Libertarian, Republican Parties, etc., and it started to be not so fun. Perhaps I should try again.
