A year ago, the North Carolina Senate passed the National Popular Vote Plan. SB 954 passed on May 14, 2007. However, the House has done nothing with the bill. But North Carolina, like most states, has two-year legislative sessions, and the House is considering passing the bill. See this story.

I say, lets call our state Reps. and Senators to oppose this bill, but to revive the Electoral College the way it needs to be. Where each district’s vote goes to the candidate it chooses, not to be overturned by the state’s majority vote, and all cast to one candidate.
