  1. One more timebomb to add to the EVIL election system ROT.

    34 H W S
    33 S W H
    16 W H S
    16 W S H

    99

    Place Votes Table
    1 2 3 Tot

    H 34 16 49 99
    S 33 16 50 99
    W 32 67 0 99

    99 99 99

    H 50 – S 49 using IRV.

The 67 second choice votes for W are ignored by IRV and ALL the math MORONS wanting IRV.

    H Hitler, S Stalin, W Washington

An even more extreme example –

    49 H W S
    48 S W H
    1 W H S
    1 W S H

    99

    H 49 1 49 99
    S 48 1 50 99
    W 2 97 0 99

    99 99 99

Same result. This time a mere 97 second choice votes for W are ignored by IRV.

  2. The Range Voting crowd comes up with these theoretical examples of IRV gone bad. Too bad in the thousands of actual IRV elections they can not find one which exhibits the characteristics shown above.

IRV will solve many problems with our existing elections systems. Let’s all be happy that Colorado is leading the way in local options.
