  1. I don’t think the Libertarian Party is running anyone for Governor. The ballot-qualified minor parties have until September to nominate.

  2. I’m wondering.Did the candidates have to show a certain amount of support in a certain number of polls or was it enough just to be on the ballot?

  3. The Dems originally were going to support the Bull Moose Progressives [state chair Tony Pollina] against unpopular GOP governor Douglas.

Shooting themselves in the foot —–again! [Joe Lieberman, John F. Kerry, Hillary Rodam Clinton any one?] the Dems are going to prompt the re-election of Douglas.

I told ya so! I’ve been saying for years that Pollina needed to be in the Lt. Governor match. He’s racked up 25% in an early Lt. Governor’s run. If the elected governor should falter, Anthony would be in —like the Reform United States Senator replacing air craft victim Wellstone by Governor Jesse Ventura.

I told them, in between shipments of Bull Moose shirts, that those Democrats could not be trusted not to run! Non Dems and non GOP need to be aware that Pollina was the favorite in any two way race.
