Ohio Attorney General's Race Likely to be 3-Way

On July 22, the Ohio Republican Party finally let it be known that it will nominate a candidate for Attorney General, in this November’s special election. He is D. Michael Crites. The Democrats already chose their nominee, State Treasurer Richard Cordray. The third name on the ballot is Robert Owens, state chair of the Constitution Party, who will not have any ballot label next to his name.

  1. It’s Owens in a landslide! Independent Integrity!

Crites…Cordray? Never heard of ’em. They’re toast.

  2. Gary Odom and Cody Quirk: your unbridled Junior High School enthusiasm is so embarrassing come election day!

Hey, at least you do not steal other folks’ blogs [Cody Text Thief] and do not spam like Jonathan BobBarr2008!

  3. Ugh. More musical chairs in Ohio executive offices. The Democrats were upset with Republicans for doing the same thing during the 2002 elections.

Mr. Owens will likely have my vote even though I tend to disagree with him on many political issues. I hope he can confine his politics when doing the work of Attorney General.

  4. Michael Crites is a former Franklin County Prosecutor, real big on the drug war and going after strip clubs. He later became a Federal Prosecutor.

Cordray is young, has been a Franklin County Treasurer and is currently Ohio Treasurer. He was on “Jeopardy” for several days a few years ago. Quite popular.

    PEACE
    Steve
