Louisiana May Delay September 6 Primary — No Comments

  1. District Attorney primaries are on Saturday, which is a pretty wide-reaching local race.

I don’t know if there’s a possibility of just moving the local race primaries to the October runoff date, and the local runoffs to November 4th. But the local races have had early primaries even while the state has done November/December primaries for Congress.

The only Congressional primaries being held this Saturday are in the 2nd (New Orleans), 4th (NW LA), and maybe the 5th (NE LA). I don’t know what the situation is in northern Louisiana. But it might take a few days to get people back into New Orleans and to get power back.

Maybe moving the primary to the 13th is a reasonable move considering the damage.

  2. Perhaps the M-O-R-O-N-S in the LA regime are still so brain dead stupid that they can NOT detect when the hurricance season happens ???

I.E. NO brains to have the primary EARLIER in the year BEFORE the hurricane season ???

Too much heat in LA rots the brains of the regime leaders — as if sucking tax dollars to live in a super- dangerous below or barely above sea level area is not stupid enough ???

  3. RICHARD THE DEADLINE FOR THIRD PARTY CANDIDATES WAS SEP 2 THE SOS OFFICE WAS CLOSED HAS THE DEADLINE BEEN EXTENDED?
