No Louisiana Decision on Bob Barr from U.S. Supreme Court on October 6

On October 6, the U.S. Supreme Court issued orders in hundreds of cases, but did not act on Bob Barr’s request to be put on the Louisiana ballot. The case is Libertarian Party v Dardenne, no. 08A269. All briefs on the injunctive relief matter had been submitted during the period between September 27 and October 2. The U.S. Supreme Court isn’t expected to hand down orders again until October 14, although the Court is free to hand down an individual order at any time.

  1. A supreme court which stands condemned of a shameless and contemtible manipulation of a prior Presidential election–Gore vs. Bush 2000–certainly doesn’t surprise anyone when they refuse to uphold the !st and 14th Amendments to the Constitution and allow the disenfranchisement of American citizens who happen to be Libertarians, denying them the “right” to vote for the candidates of their choice.

The shame is NOT to the Libertarian Party, Bob Barr, or their supporters in Louisiana. It is only to the LA Board of Elections and the corrupt and befouled judiciary which helps them!!

    PEACE AND FREEDOM!!

  2. Actually Louisiana doesn’t have a state Board of Elections, but thanks for the sentiments!
