Three-Party Debate in Special California U.S. House Race

On June 23, the three ballot-listed candidates for U.S. House in California’s 32nd district held a debate in Azusa. The three candidates are Democrat Judy Chu, Republican Betty Chu, and Libertarian Christopher Agrella. This article describes the debate, although it barely mentions Agrella, although he is in the picture. The caption under the picture, saying the election is for the California Assembly, is an error. The election is July 14.

  1. That’s because the SGV is in Judy’s back pocket, as they have been the entire campaign. They have dismissed both Chris and Betty Chu out of hand the entire way.

I was present for that debate, filming it, and the segments are viewable on Chris’s Facebook page. The raw video tells a tale far more than the article omitted.

BTW, at the Tuesday Green forum, Judy Chu was a no-show. She bailed out after the Azusa debate and hasn’t been seen since, and she seems to be hiding because the more she debates, the worse she does.

  2. Thanks for the SGVT article.

I saw Chris on TV attacking the special election tax increates. He is an excellent candidate and spokesman.

The problem our nation has Congressional Districts have gone from about 50,000 people in the 1700s to 650,000 today. In the old days someone like Chris could meet voters face to face and have a chace to win. These days people like Chris are outspent by the billionaire cartels of corrupt union and corporation money.

We need election reform and proportional represntation.
