New York counties have county legislatures, elected on a partisan basis in odd years. Suffolk County, New York, is one of New York’s most populous counties. It contains the eastern half of Long Island.
Jay Schneiderman is has been a member of the Suffolk County legislature since 2003. In July 2008 he changed his registration from “Republican” to “Independence”. However, according to this story, he has won the support not only of his own party for re-election this year, but the support of the Republican Party, the Working Families Party, and the Conservative Party. Furthermore he is a good chance of winning the Democratic Party nomination.
I found the following article below most interesting, this bloke, Kumar, now says he is the Chairman if the Reform Party, he has also added another surname as wel, while still having his toe in the Independence and Republican Parties.
Interesting he has a “record”. I also found it interesting that the article was in a “Indian publication for “Indian Expats”, this begs the question, is this chap a U.S. Citizen or a Dual Citizen? It seems that this cabal of the Blare-Bambey mafia is full of people of questionable backgrounds, they also have a chap out in Nevada who served time for a crime of violence.

Bobby Kumar admits he lied about kidnap
Bobby Kumar, a Long Island community activist and businessman, was arrested
by Nassau county police August 1 on charges of making false statements
about his alleged kidnapping.
Kumar, who came under media focus (India Abroad, July 20, 2001) last month
after he claimed he was abducted by three unidentified men from a
restaurant in Syosset, NY, appeared in the First District Court in
Hempstead on August 2, but was released on his own recognizance and ordered
back in court on August 20.
Kumar has been charged with two counts of making a false statement after
admitting to police the night before that he made up the story of his kidnapping.

Kumar resigned as board chairman under pressure in May 2001 and a few months later pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in connection with the faking of his own kidnapping.

This is too much, first Kumar defrauds and fakes his own kidnapping, now he defrauds again by claiming to be a leader of the Reform Party??? Is this guy mentally stable? Is his theme song Disney’s Alladan, the one about the flying carpet ride?
I would like to know his citizenship, dual or otherwise. If Obama’s can be questioned, then this little wannabes can be too.
I seem to remember a scandal back in the Clinton times where foreigners were the cash behind the throne and they ended up in the big house.
Sure seems like the Reform Party atracks cooks, flakes, nuts, and now foreigners and criminals.
By the way, if you look up his rap sheet, Bobby is not his real name either, nor is his new surname he uses to try to mask his prior misdeeds. Those of us from New York know all about this wako.
My husband, Ian Wilder, is the Secretary of the Green Party of Suffolk. And, Ian has heard no information about the Green Party endorsing Jay Schneiderman.
Years ago, Jay worked with the Green Party.
It would be very interesting and surprising if Jay collected Green Party petitions to get their endorsement. I suppose it could be done. But, I have heard nothing about it. And, the effort might not be worth it for him, since he would probably only get an emblem on the ballot, not an extra line.
News to me on the Green Party support, and I’m Suffolk County chair. My Green contact in East Hampton knows nothing about it.
My friends in the Green Party should be leary.
Kumar did a “Sanford” disappearing Act a few years ago and lied and claimed it to be a kidnapping, now he says he is the new Big Wig of the Reform Party, next he will say he is the Chief of the Green Party.
His political bed buddy MacKay tried this same play and we called him out on this, so he just passed the foot ball to Kumar or whatever he is calling himself. Kumar still says he is a honcho in multiple political parties. These guys are sleeze.
