One has to wonder what the Socialist Party USA is going to do about California. Now that the Peace and Freedom Party of California has decided to begin a national effort rather than to seek affiliation with SPUSA (against my advice – which caused me to resign from the Sacramento County, and State, Central Committees of PFP-CA); SPUSA might find itself with even more national competition and still no ballot access in the Golden State.
I thought that was held in 2008 — aka Donkey National Convention ???
One thing that I forgot to mention in my comment above (1.) is that I also changed my registration to “I Decline to State a Political Party.” I made that change on the fourth of last month (and I have mentioned it previously on this website). My plan is to vote in the Democratic Party Primary Election next year. In California, the Donkey Party (along with the American Independent Party and the Republican Party) allows independents to vote in their primary elections. Hey, if “Demo Rep” lives in the Goldent State, I can cancel out his votes if he or she is a Democrat. If he or she is a Republican, it does not matter as much because that party will be minor-sized by 2012.
Golden State, not Goldent State, is what I meant to write. When are we going to get spell check on this website?
