New Hampshire House Passes Bill to Keep Ahead of Any Caucus State Except Iowa

On January 13, the New Hampshire House passed HB 341, which deals with the state’s presidential primary. New Hampshire law already requires the Secretary of State to schedule the presidential primary at least seven days before any other state’s presidential primary. The bill specifies that the New Hampshire presidential primary should also be at least seven days earlier than any other state’s caucus. However, the bill exempts the Iowa caucus, which traditionally is earlier than the New Hampshire presidential primary. Thanks to Tony Roza for this news.

  1. Const Amdt —

Uniform definition of Elector in ALL of the U.S.A.

    Equal ballot access.

P.R. and nonpartisan A.V. – in ONE election.

    — to put the EVIL MORON party hacks OUT of business permanently — especially in the party hack MORON small States like NH and IA — like putting the slave owners OUT of business permanently via the 13th Amdt.

Otherwise see the machinations in the dying Roman Republic in 120 B.C. – 27 B.C. — and then put to death by the EVIL tyrant Augustus Caesar.

  2. It’s about time for the other 48 states to put their foot down and tell Iowa and New Hampshire that there are no “special” states in the voting booth.

  3. Every person running should have the same process and if it be the primary process, this is my recommendation: Divide the country into six regions (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Northwest, South Central, and Pacific). Starting with one of the regions, have all of the states in that region have a primary on the same day. Two weeks later another region will hold all of its primaries. This will save much on travel costs of all involved. It will also avoid 5 or 6 states basically eliminating 80-90% of the candidates by the time the other 44 states are slated to vote. I understand why Iowa and NH desire to remain relevant in the process, but the whole process is not set up to ensure that a majority of voters decide who is going to be on the ballot during the Presidential election.

  4. #4 The sponsor explained the bill and “since we pay for our primary we can hold it whenever we wish. No other state nor the political parties can dictate our schedule”

  5. # 5 How about a one line constitutional amendment removing NH and IA from the Union ???

NH and IA are hereby removed from the Union of the States — good riddance due to the Prez primary corruption in such ex-States.
