Oscar Goodman Won’t Run for Governor of Nevada as an Independent

Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman announced on January 25 that he will not run for Governor of Nevada this year as an independent candidate. See this story. He said he would rather complete his term as Mayor of Las Vegas. He changed his registration from “Democratic” to “independent” last year. According to this story, a neutral poll had him at 33%, behind one likely Republican nominee but ahead of the likely Democratic nominee.
