  1. As a Graduate Student at Oklahoma State University I have attended the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature, the oldest student-run group in the state and allegedly the nation. This issue has been able to draw enough attention among college students that similar bills have been written for the past several sessions, held each semester at the state capitol, but have failed to make it to the floor. Unfortunate, because all bills that achieve final passage in the organization get submitted to the real legislature in OKC, for consideration. Most Oklahomans I’ve spoken to on the issue feel that it is a good step in including more issues that can become good policy through a more fair system of competition. People want choices.

  2. That is very interesting, Mr. Caldwell. It sounds like the Intercollegiate Legislature is yet another avenue we should be using to push this issue. I urge you and anyone else who’s sympathetic to this cause to consider getting involved with Oklahomans for Ballot Access Reform (OBAR). Check us out at okvoterchoice.org.
