Don Lake: I agree with you here. Why do we need a “Conservative Party” when we already have the “America’s Independent Party,” the “Constitution Party,” the “Independent American Party,” the “America First Party,” and oh yes, what’s left of the “Reform Party,” of Pat Buchannan vintage. Basically all of these parties stand for the same thing. Why don’t they attempt to form a coalition if they won’t all merge together? No wonder 3rd parties are such “losers” when election time rolls around.

According to the Conservative Party USA, they have a Conservative Party in New York State. And this isn’t the CP Buckley ran on. So, NY has two Conservative Parties.
Alabama, the AFP, the IAP (not affiliated with us) are not ballot qualifield, except in Florida.
Then again, Florida has 27 ballot qualified parties, I believe.
