Is this an expansion of the Conservative Party of New York into other states, or a separate party?
I see a possible lawsuit and/or general friction between the NY branch which calls itself “Conservative Party of New York” and the older, more respected “Conservative Party of New York State”.

what a pathetic waste of time this will prove to be.
I, too, suspect this will end up being mostly a waste of time. But if the Conservative Party of LA follows the Conservative Party of New York State model–lobbying for fusion and gaining ground that way–then it might actually be successful.
