U.S. House Drops Plans to Vote on Voting Representative for D.C.

According to this story, the leadership of the U.S. House will not bring HR 157 to the floor of the House this year for a vote. This is the bill that would have given a voting representative in the House to the District of Columbia. Thanks to Gene Berkman for the news.
