The Nation magazine carries this article in its September 27 issue, calling on South Carolina Democrats to support Tom Clements for the U.S. Senate. Clements is the Green Party nominee, and the only person on the November ballot for U.S. Senate, other than Democratic nominee Alvin Greene and incumbent Republican Jim DeMint.
I would just like to say that anyone who votes for Alvin Greene out of partisan allegiance is F*CKING RETARDED. The vote total for Mr. Greene is more or less going to tell me how much faith I should have in the ability of America, and possibly mankind, to right itself.
SC Progressives I know are planning to vote Green, not Greene.
The local media is beginning to cover Clements’ campaign and the’s going to more and more events.
People want to hold DeMint accountable, and Tom’s campaign is the way to do it.
How many subscribers does the Nation have in SC, 17? When the Nation endorses someone other than a Democrat in New York that will be news, but until then… feh!
