Rasmussen Poll On Voter Self-Identification Shows 32.3% Identify with Neither Major Party — 11 Comments

  1. …that’s called psychological momentum. When the establishment media creates an air where only two parties exist because single winner districts create two party systems.

  2. One thing ya’ll who promote six parties don’t see nor realize, is that when new creative party names are created like the Pot Party for example…or Constitution Party, or Free and Equal Party…then on the US Parliament’s ballot, when we have all 100 names and all new nominees, people see the new names and vote for them. They switch to the new creative party names.

    But when you keep promoting only six party names, i.e. “ballot qualified names”, you trash all the free speech regsitration and throw it away as though it doesn’t exist. It’s not “real-world”. Yet real people did put these words by their names.

    You censor them.

  3. I’m on a roll now, here’s some more of that…

    In the US Parliament’s poll, where we allow people to have any free speech word(s)/party/(or independent) by their name, usually about 90% are not Democratic or Republican.

    Futhermore, every year you get more and more splintering of smaller and smaller parties and independents.

    I’ve been doing it every year, for 15 years, and every year the trends continue to change.

    Here’s this year’s results;

  4. in NYS the Election Law allows up to now five plus one ballot lines for the same candidate for one office, but I can not write in the name of that candidate (already listed on at least one ballot line and I am forced to associate with this party line rather than expressing an independent vote for the candidate and in the case of Governor this year, if at least 50,000 votes were allowed to write-in for a candidate than the new write-in party line would have permanent ballot access (for four years) and if one of the top two the line would have its own permanent state BOE commissioner system in place.

  5. What happened to Demo-Rep? The answer is approval voting
    for executive and federal offices and PR for state and local legislatures. After you get all that you could aim
    for an expanded US House with PR.

  6. #5, this year NY votes using the new optical scanning system with paper ballots with ovals that are filled in. So I do not know what will happen if you write-in your candidate’s name. Great question about getting 50,000 for the write-in. Really do not know how the BOE would handle this.

  7. #6

    The U.S.A. is de facto politically brain dead due to the EVIL accumulated effects of the ANTI-Democracy gerrymanders in the State regimes (234 years — but going back to the 1600s in VA, MA, etc.) and U.S.A. regimes (222 years – first U.S.A. H.Rep. gerrymander elections in 1788).

  8. I read on Independent Political Report, that member of super-state parliament (MSP) Joseph Sobran [Constitution] has passed away.

    Here’s tonight’s new 2nd vote count results; http://www.usparliament.org/ss11.htm

    Number 101 was elected from the original stack of ballots cast which are kept as proof, the next highest ranked name was automatically elected, and MSP Joe Cobb [Green] was elected in his stead.
