Libertarian, Anti-Prohibition Parties Win New York Ballot Case

On October 22, a US District Court in New York issued an injunction against the discriminatory law on fusion. The judge ordered the state to let Randy Credico appear on both lines: the Libertarian line and the Anti-Prohibition line.  There will be an opinion soon.

  1. I wonder if there is time for that to take effect for this election. I’d think the ballots may already be printed.

    I’d also like to see the ruling. If ballot status parties can get unlimited independent body line, they could bury the real independent bodies.

  2. Number 1. No they don’t. The parties in power hurt the opposition. The whole theory that the poor innocent incumbent parties are hurt by the mean old opposition parties is absurd.
