Laura Wells, California Green Nominee, Appears in Court on Election Day on "Trespassing" Charge from Debate — No Comments

  1. The host of the debate, AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) is supposedly a nonpartisan nonprofit. With that kind of partisan behavior, it must not care very much about its nonprofit status.

  2. I don’t be aware of you, but I’ve been awaiting this day for almost two years. There is a lots of good news out at this time there: AFSCME and the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee obtaining loans to fuel their own attack ads; Barney Frank loaning himself $200, 000. despite having their own money they don’t know when to quit spending, why should we expect they could do any better along with ours?

  3. I’m investing my confidence is those who wish to work together as a team based on ranked votes as cast.

    How do you know when some third party or independent candidate isn’t going to screw things up for you too?

    The only way I can tell, is when someone (Democratic and Republican included) casts the vote, or self appoints their name;

    There appears to be people that will sabotage the all party system before they’re willing to cooperate as team players. They can be from all parties and independents.

  4. Let me see if I have this straight; they held a Governors debate and the Green candidate isn’t permitted to participate, but she has a ticket to be in the audience and they arrest her and scheduled her court date for election day??????????? And there was no “anti social” reaction to this?

  5. Will she sue the EVIL MORONS involved and bankrupt them via $$$ damages — false arrest, false imprisonment, assault, etc. ???

  6. Re: Controller Minister Laura Wells [Green]

    Too bad elected CA-PAR Controller Minister Laura Wells [Green] couldn’t bother to answer her phone or email, and return a call or email when I repeatedly called and emailed her, leading up to and after the primary in the election for Governor this year.

    I’d been conducting these all party and independent ranked voting elections every year since 1995 when I ran for CA Gov myself*, in the Green Party’s primary in 1994 on a platform of state voting reform through pure proportional representation (PR).

    I see it as a way for multi-parties and independents to work together as a team, but I guess she wants the kind of publicity from fighting and trespassing.

    Of the 42 state candidates for partisan office, some of them did respond to an attempt to elect a seven member team from the seven state partisan offices up for election through ranked eballots.

    And, many of them were either unreachable, or not interested.

    I really feel like this system weeds out the dictators…the cool people who want to work together respond positively. Check out the results if you’d like, we’re continuing the election through 2014 you know.

    *I was running for Gov live in Usenet in ’93/94, Google derived from my initials Joogle in Usenet, October of 1997…that’s another story you know, and the founders of Google probably forgot…they bought deja news(sp?) and turned into Google groups…deleted the moment when they started from my name…it’s what Google doesn’t want you to know…but there are several witnesses still around)
