On December 21, the LaRouche organization announced the candidacies of six congressional candidates for the 2012 election. They will all run in Democratic primaries. Followers of Lyndon LaRouche have been running in Democratic primaries for public office, and also for Democratic Party office, ever since 1979. The six candidates already announced for 2012 are running in California, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Texas, and Washington. It is interesting that the organization chose two “top-two” states, California and Washington, for its campaigns.
They want to revive the FDR policies, and we need that now more than ever.

Press Announcement: Six Candidate LaRouche Democratic Slate
The LaRouche Democratic slate has doubled, adding three more candidates to the ticket. In addition to Rachel Brown’s campaign in Massachusetts, Kesha Rogers’ in Texas, and Summer Shields’ in San Francisco, the three additional candidates are Bill Roberts in the greater Detroit region, Dave Christie in the area of Seattle, Washington, and Diane Sare, running in the New Jersey-Philadelphia region.
I doubt the candidates in California and Washington will run in Democratic primaries. Perhaps they will express a preference for the Democratic Party when they file for office.

Maria Cantwell is not the only good Dem. Peter DeFazio is pretty good, and Charlie Rangel is very good, which is how he got on the Enemies List. And there are others, but the good guys are definitely not in the driver’s seat.
