A lower state court in Chicago will hear arguments on January 4, over whether Rahm Emanuel meets the Chicago residency requirement to run for Mayor. Emanuel is currently on the ballot, but some voter-plaintiffs are trying to get him removed. See this story. Meanwhile, the Chicago Board of Elections still hasn’t resolved the challenge to the petition of Carol Moseley Braun, another candidate for Mayor. The election is February 22.

The problem with Rahm Emanuel’s residency, is that
Rahm lives in a hell of a world of fantasy, whether he lived or lives in DC or Chicago. He lives in the world of powerful financial interests which he deems as the gods of the world, who spit on the face of G-D and of all human beings, as well.
When Lyndon LaRouche supporters told Rahm Emanuel to his face, may times in 2006, and before, and after, that the global financial system was in a state of crash, and that his sense of duty and concern for his constituents ought to mobilize him into action, as President Franklin Roosevelt did in the crash on the 1930’s, and as Lyndon Larouche proposed in many forms in the past few years, Emergency Recovery Act, to save and re-tool the machine tool capabilities of the Midwest auto sector, the Home Owner and Bank Protection Act to stop all home foreclosures, and write off the outrageous speculative securitized Monopoly money phony paper, or to restore the well-known and sturdy FDR Glass-Steagall Act to bring order to the chaos of the collapsing financial system, Rahm arrogantly refused to even consider taking any actions that would defend the people of the state of Illinois and in his Congressional district at that time.
So, to summarize, Rahm Emmanuel is disqualified from serving the people of Chicago, by his own words and deeds.
With the crash of the global financial system, now a done deed, and with cities like Chicago and states like Illinois in a state of catastrophic bankruptcy already due to his brand of love thy hedge fund speculator, he is automatically disqualified by reason of his own destructive arrogance.
