Ted Glick Essay “The Third Force Idea” — 4 Comments

  1. Ted Glick, the self-same shameless peddler of the David Cobb fiasco that ruined the Green Party, now wants to dispense advice on why the Greens and Libertarians need to merge with the Demopublicans. Utterly disgusting.

  2. So he wants a third party, that’s not really a third party, but that works-with/takes-over the Democratic party, because he’s noticed that third parties tend to not do so well.

How is this plan different than the thousands of others that suggest basically the same thing?

(And he rejects campaign finance, ballot access, and voting law reform. Good luck, man…)

  3. Please remember my dictum “One for Red, Two for Blue, Three for Green”. Reds prefer one-party states, Blues prefer two-party states (as long as the second party is the loyal opposition). Greens prefer a three party system, where they represent “the progressive majority”. That sentiment is displayed here and is echoed by the Socialist-Green in New York, Howie Hawkins, and is out and about in Green Party and “Progressive” circles around the country. For forty years I’ve been listening to this diatribe and for the last fifteen I’ve discounted it by 90%, and haven’t been proved wrong yet.

  4. More – Same – Less STATISM ???

    3 forces at work ???

See the 3 bears story for kids.
