Randall Terry Will Seek Democratic Presidential Nomination in 2012

On January 20, Randall Terry, who has been a leading anti-legal-abortion activist for many decades, declared his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for President in 2012. See this story. His chief motivation seems a desire to run television campaign ads that show unpleasant photographs that relate to the abortion process. Broadcast television stations are not permitted to censor the content of ads run by candidates, nor can the stations refuse to air these ads, if the candidate is able to pay the station’s charges for running the ads.

The story does not mention whether or not Terry will seek primary season matching funds, but chances are, he will. Thanks to Bill Van Allen for this news.

Randall Terry Will Seek Democratic Presidential Nomination in 2012 — No Comments

  1. How many seconds until the Donkeys change their nomination rules to keep R.T. OFF the ballots and OFF TV ???

    — and/or the gerrymander Congress does whatever it takes to do the same ???

  2. A right to lifer running for president as a Democrat? A first since Alabama’sGeorge C. Wallace and Ellen McCormack in 1976. Now is only one or two from the left might run, we might have Obama worried about getting re-nominated.

  3. This is a non-story. Terry doesn’t have a rat’s chance in hell of the nomination. Obama will crush him, so 99-1 or so. But just making sure to have democratic primaries in order to do the GOTV work and registering people will do the democratic party good. Barack Obama will win a resounding re-election.

    Thanks, Terry Randall.

  4. Maybe Mr. Terry would like to run for President on the
ticket of the American Independent Party of California?

    Sincerely, Mark Seidenberg,
    Vice Chairman, American Independent Party

  5. Mr. Seidenberg.

Finally you have written something I can agree with you on. I could definitely consider supporting Mr. Terry for President. But what about Alan Keyes? Isn’t he planning on running again?

  6. Alabama Independent

I California many people can run for President. Mr. Terry and Dr. Keyes can both be on the ballot. Both are good men.

    Sincerely, Mark Seidenberg
    Vice Chairman

  7. Bonncaruso, Obama might not even be on the ballot in a number of states as many legislatures are advancing ballot access bills requiring a certified long form birth certificate. The mainstream media is turning in the direction of so called “birthers” with prominent recent statements by Chris Matthews, Rush Limbaugh, and HI governor Neil Abercrombie. A former HI elections employee has just signed a statement indicating that there is no Obama birth certificate.

  8. # 7 How soon before the Elephants in the H.R. start an investigation of the Obama birth stuff — and even perhaps ALL members of the gerrymander Congress ???

    Records, testimony, the works.

  9. Mr. Seidenberg:

What are the qualifications or other requirements for one to enter your AIP Presidential Preference Primary in 2012?

    Thanks.

  10. Alabama Independent

Post you e-mail address and I will reply directly.

I do not want to post here because Don “Everything is
a fake” Grundmann might get an idea of running again
    for President.

    Sincerely, Mark Seidenberg,
    Vice Chairman, American Independent Party

  11. Mark Seidenberg. I think I have your email somewhere, and I’ll contact you. Despite our past differences over Chalene Nightingale, we need to be follow patriots and work together where we can. Our nation is in more danger today than it was 3 months ago.
