  1. Very good point. I recently had to get my ID duplicated from the state (a fee of $10) because it was so badly worn it was unrecognizable (date, photo and all). During the time it took to order and to receive, around 10 days, had it been near election time, with these photo ID requirements I would have been or could have been denied the right to vote. Also like the article shows, I don’t look like my ID anymore, a current friend and professor even recently commented to that effect when they saw my ID. This is dangerous, it is anytime we go in a direction that will limit the right to vote.

  2. To be consistent you’d have to advocate doing away with all govt photo id. Also you should tell your congresspeople that we need a new world treaty to do away with photos on passports.
