Hawaii Instant Runoff Voting to be Heard on April 4

The Hawaii Senate Judiciary and Government Operations Committee will hold a hearing on HB 638 on April 4, Monday, at 9 a.m. This is the bill to use Instant Runoff Voting in special elections. The bill passed the House on March 8.

    Hmmm. Who has 99 votes in 1st and 2nd place votes ???

    IRV does NOT treat all 2nd, 3rd, etc place votes the SAME — esp for single offices.
