Former Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson, who has always been a Democrat since he has been in public life, has rejected the Democratic Party. See this story. He favors the eventual existence of a new party. He had been elected Mayor in 1999, and had been re-elected in 2003.

Even though I disagree with Anderson’s politics, I hope he does well in his fight against the one-party system of the Republocrats. THIRD PARTY NOW!!!

I agree with Derek says, “go independent or third party.” If he goes 3rd party, I hope he will form his own before he alligns himself with a radical left or radical right party. Neither will help his overall cause.

Though it looks like the Utah CP is the one third party in Utah that has the best chance of doing just that
