On October 8-9, Jill Stein appeared at Occupy Boston, one of the parallel regional protests to Occupy Wall Street. See this story at Irregular Times. Stein is expected to declare that she is running for the Green Party presidential nomination on October 24.

‘Occupy’ movement is pro-American, anti-Republican

The “Occupy Wall Street” movement that’s sweeping the nation is pro-American and anti-Republican.
That’s a key thing to keep in mind right now, when so many people are sick and tired of Congress.
They are, in general, especially upset at GOP leaders’ plans to kill any grand attempt to reform the U.S. financial system that’s stacked against ordinary Americans.
I know the Occupy movement is having some effect, because ultra-conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh called the Americans involved in the group “idiots,” “clowns” and other names Monday.
And GOP presidential candidates such as Herman Cain flail around widely, questioning whether supporters of “Occupy Wall Street” are real Americans.
Give me a break.

@Donald
How can you be pro-American and be anti-Republican at the same time?
It’s easy if you try.

By thinking?
I consider these protests Pro-Statist.
@6 You consider wrong. There are also many libertarians, voluntaryists, anarchists and Ron Paul supporters there too.
