  1. (Picture the sound of long and loud laughing for several minutes instead of my regular text.)

  2. So Colbert will finish 5th behind Romney and Gingrich and close to Paul and Santorum? Is SC an open primary?

Although I’ll be disappointed, but not surprised, if he comes in ahead of Huntsman…I am ever so hopeful to see him come in ahead of Perry to finally put down one of the worst campaigns in the history of presidential campaigns.

  3. Actually, according to the NH SOS website, Vermin Supreme got 831 votes. Rick Perry had over double that amount. Still, Ron Paul got more votes in the Democratic Primary than Rick Perry did in the Republican.

Does South Carolina report write-in votes, or are they like DC, PA, and some other places? If he runs as if he were serious, would he have to give up his program, just like Trump would have to give up “The Apprentice” if he ran, or does only apply to candidates who spend enough to have to report to the FEC?

  4. Coolbare ???

    Colbare ???

    Coolbert ???

    etc.

    All legal write-in votes ???

How many election law cases will make it to SCOTUS before, during and after the Nov 2012 election day ????

  5. I so dearly wanted him to appear on the primary ballot for both candidates in this state in 2008. It would have been such a wonderful euphoric thing. Way better than a Ron Paul campaign could ever be.

It was an enormous let down to me when he caved in, and abandoned his campaign.

  6. 2 –

I know of three campaigns that were worse than mine.

    There was Pat Paulsen’s in 68, and…and…and…

    Ooops!

  7. @6: Hey Clay. So you’re in SC? Give me in the SCGP a shout through the website if you’re interested in the SC Greens. We are going to run a couple of candidates this Fall and could use the help of political junkies with compatible politics.
