New York State Senator Arrested for Allegedly Trying to Use Bribery to Get Name on Republican Mayoral Primary Ballot

New York state has a unique law, which gives political party officials the power to determine if a non-member of the party should be permitted to run in that party’s primary. New York State Senator Malcolm Smith, a Democrat, is running for Mayor this year, and he allegedly bribed some individuals to help him get permission to run in the Republican primary.   1. Will it take another Union Army to liberate NY and wipe out such *unique* law (of tyranny) ???

  2. Malcolm Smith should have entered the Dem primary. He would not be in handcuffs today. The Rep candidate will be either Lhota, who was MTA Chairman during Hurricane Sandy, or John Catsim, who will spend $1 each month.
