  1. Even more good news coming out of Illinois, in addition to Carbondale electing a Green into their city council, Jessica Bradshaw (in a non-partisan race).
Now if only voters in the Second Congressional district up in the Chicago area weren’t so collectively ignorant…I mean, what are the odds that Kelley ISN’T corrupt in some way given the massive donation she received from Bloomberg and that district’s history with Democratic members of Congress? Just two percent for LeAlan Jones…I really thought he had a chance of getting five percent, but I overestimated the voters up there.

  2. Plus, LeAlan came in 4th. He was behind an Indy (3rd place) and ex-con? R (2nd Place). Pretty sad really.

  3. #3 Joshua Jones received less than 2% of the vote (1.8%). Considering he didn’t have enough signatures required to get on the ballot he and the Greens should consider themselves lucky to get even that much.
