  1. An interesting note on this election is that while the BC Liberals won an upset victory, beating poll expectations that they’d lose, the Liberal leader lost her seat.

  2. One more EVIL and VICIOUS minority rule gerrymander regime — inherited from the EVIL and VICIOUS Brit House of Commons — from the late 1200s — into North America in the 1600s, etc.

  3. There should be a majority requirement in order to win a seat in a district. If not, there’s a new election.

  4. Saying “Whoever gets the most votes is the winner” sounds fair, as does “a majority requirement in order to win” but both methods (plurality or majority) really mean that a large portion of voters in each single seat district will be “represented” by somebody they voted against.
The ONLY fair way to fill legislative seats is through Proportional Representation. For more information, see http://www.betterelections123.us
