Conservative Republican Investigating Corruption in New York Says He Now Supports Public Funding of Campaigns

According to this story, William Fitzpatrick, District of Attorney of Onondaga County now in his sixth term, says he now favors public funding of campaigns for the New York legislature. Fitzpatrick is a Republican and describes himself as a conservative. He is one of the three members of the Commission to Investigate Public Corruption.
