U.S. District Court Won’t Enjoin Montana Law That Allows Any Voter to Help Choose Republican Party Officers

On January 8, U.S. District Court Judge Brian Morris refused to enjoin a Montana law that allows any registered voter to help choose Republican Party officers in the primary. Ravalli County Republican Central Committee v McCulloch, cv14-58. Montana does not have registration by party. The order says there is yet no evidence that any voters who don’t consider themselves Republicans are voting in elections for party officers. Thus, the case will need a trial.

  1. SCOTUS noted the difference between PUBLIC OFFICE stuff and internal robot party hack stuff in 1989.

Too many current MORON judges to count ???

  2. It’s been found that both Democrats and Republicans run for the other parties committee organizations, in counties where the organizations are weak. Both parties object to this possible takeover by the other party. One year several Republicans ran for the Ravalli County Democratic Central Committee, and also ran as Democrats. Most voters don’t know who the two parties are or if a majority of voters even vote for these committee people in the primary. Will this be a wasted court date?
