  1. No governor is a king. Neither is the Governor here. The governor should call for the special election as soon as possible so the people of the district will have someone to represent them. True, this may be a hyper-liberal Democratic district, but what is fair is fair. If it were a hyper-conservative Republican district, I would take the same position.

  2. I’m not a “hyper” anything, just a Populist of my own definition preferring to operate under the Independent Label.

Many people who ask my my positions on various issues are “baffled” that I take a position what would be considered by some as contradictory to the position I take on a different issue.

The problem is, too many people are philosophical in one director or the other. They think they have to take the doctrinaire position on all issues which a party or their group of political operatives would take.

I take it issue by issue. That is what I believe our Founding Fathers wanted, and I attempt to continue in that vein.
