According to Danny Bedwell (Libertarian nominee), all candidates need 1000 valid signatures to earn a place on the ballot.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Nunnelee several years ago when he served in the Mississippi Legislature. I think he was only starting his 2nd term when he died. What a shame. This should be a safe GOP seat, but I think former Democratic Congressman Childers may run for this seat again – and it could be a close race.
