Bernie Sanders Lists His “Party Affiliation” as “Democratic Party” in FEC Filing — 6 Comments

  1. No big surprise. At least he is running, and it will make Hillary have to get off her butt and answer some questions. She was hoping for a coronation as the Democratic nominee, but now Sanders will make her earn it. Hopefully in any debates they might have, she will slip up and say something that can be used against her.

  2. He would have to list “Democratic” as party affiliation, since he is seeking the Democratic Party nomination, not filing to run as an Independent.

Given the lack of party registration in Vermont, and his mixed history of running as an Independent but supporting many Democrats, the question of whether he is a Democrat is almost totally subjective at this point.

  3. Let’s see if he can taken one states and make Clinton earn the nomination.

  4. I agree with Mike. Mr. Sanders should examine the 2008 primary results and campaign hard in every state where the Hildabeast either lost or narrowly won. Of course, every other ‘Rat is surely going to be doing the same thing.
