Bill Kristol Says if Trump is Republican Nominee, Kristol Would Support an Independent Candidate — 7 Comments

  1. Who is running as an Independent that would meet the tests of Bill Kristol? If Donald Trump is nominated, I expect the GOP Establishment to foolishly sit this one out. Thank God, Donald Trump has a Billion dollars that he will spent, the crowds show there is growing support for him. I originally has planned to vote for Rand Paul, but it looks as if his campaign has fizzled.

  2. There is still plenty of time for new general election candidates to arise. In 1980, John B. Anderson didn’t declare as an independent until April 24. In 1924, Robert La Follette didn’t declare as an independent until July 4.

  3. 1860 — Lincoln 39 percent of the popular votes —
as a result of DIVIDE and CONQUER among the then Donkeys.

    Result —
1861-1865 Civil WAR I — about 750,000 DEAD on both sides.
Multi-multi thousands more with lifetime mental and physical injuries – no eyes, no hands, no feet, no arms, no legs.

Which MORON mouth/brain in Devil City will really set things off ???

The alarm bells are ringing — but too many DEAF MORONS.
    Abolish the Electoral College NOW.

IN RE: NATURAL BORN CITIZEN PARTY NATIONAL COMMITTEE, ET AL.
    Originating case: USCA-DCC 15-5218, USDC-DCD 15-cv-1036-RJL
The 2016 presidential election (CINC-POTUS) revolves around the principal issue of ineligible executive action allowing amnesty of illegal aliens and their “anchor babies” so as to dilute the votes of natural born citizens of the Republic of the United States.
The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, by far the least constitutionally impaired senior federal court with regards to nominations since January 2009 oath of office by an unconstitutional non-natural-born-citizen – aka “Barack Obama” the documented son of a non US citizen (i.e. “alien”).
The Natural Born Citizen Party National Committee, et al., seeks an immediate mandamus transferring to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit the underlying originating case and all related constitutional cases listed in the docket of the originating case Natural Born Citizen Party National Committee et al v FEC et al USDC-DCD 15-cv-1036 RJL.
And further, including an immediate consolidation before judgment with the pending SCOTUS certiorari amnesty matter: “Arpaio v Obama” USCA DCC 14-5325.

  5. Lincoln would have won even if the Democrats had not split and run two tickets. Most of the states in which the vote was close had fusion ticket, with Bell, Breckinridge and Douglas electors included.

  6. Robert LaFollette almost ran in 1920 as an Independent as the nominee of the “Committee of 48”. In 1924, he probably hadn’t stopped running.

  7. If the Democratic Party not split, then they might have nominated Vice President Breckinridge and Senator Douglas, and the Republicans might have nominated someone other than a former congressman from Illinois.
