According to this story, the manager for Bernie Sanders’ New Hampshire campaign says Sanders will soon join the Democratic Party. However, the story was later updated, and the official said she did not mean what had been reported originally. Thanks to Jim Riley for pointing out the retraction.
Aaaand the fall of a once decent Independent is now likely complete. What a shame. Hopefully one of the two lawsuits against the Commission on Presidential Debates is successful, so people can see that they still have decent choices outside of the two corrupt ruling parties in 2016.
While I would love to see more Independents in Congress as well as in our Legislatures, the Democratic Party is a Socialist party, so Bernie should feel as much at home in the Democratic Party as he would remaining an Independent.

I don’t really see how this is significant. Sanders has been kind of a de facto Democrat for decades.
