August 2 is the South Dakota deadline for independent presidential candidates. Two petitions have been submitted and are being checked: Rocky De La Fuente, and Chris Keniston (who is the Veterans Party presidential nominee).
The qualified parties in South Dakota are Constitution, Democratic, Libertarian, and Republican.
So the Stein campaign didn’t make it. And Ballotpedia says SD doesn’t allow Presidential write-ins. Drat.
Theoretically could Stein have De La Fuente’s spot?
