Darrell Castle Places Sixth in Presidential Race

So far, Darrell Castle, the Constitution Party nominee, has 178,517 votes, with more being tallied during the next few weeks, especially in Washington state. The Constitution Party presidential vote increased in every state (for the states in which the party was on in both elections). The Constitution Party 2012 presidential vote had been 122,389.

Castle was on the ballot in fewer states than the 2012 nominee. The 2012 nominee, Virgil Goode, had been on the ballot in states containing 50% of the voters who voted, but Castle was only on in states containing approximately 39%.

The order of the five leading political parties, for president, for the popular vote, is the same in 2016 as it had been in 2012: Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, Green, and Constitution. Of course there were no higher-ranking independent presidential candidates in 2012, but in 2016 Evan McMullin, an independent, placed fifth, bumping the Constitution showing down to sixth.

Castle polled over 1% of the vote in Alaska, South Dakota, and Hawaii. The December 1 2016 BAN will have the vote for president by state, for all candidates who were on in at least two states, even though the results at that time still won’t be complete.

  1. Relative to December 2012, the Constitution Party is in the same position, except that it is no longer on in Ohio due to the action of the Ohio legislature in 2013, passing a new bad ballot access bill.

  2. Have the USELESS moron media stopped updating all stats ???

i.e. have to wait many weeks for the final official stats ???

  3. Are you counting Castle’s and McMullin’s write-in votes in Texas which are already counted? It doesn’t change the result but does change the total numbers. What about write-in states that come out later?

  4. It’s updating Jake based on all the secretaries of state updating counts as they go. For write-ins, you won’t know for awhile I guess.

I have Castle with 179,300 at the moment. Includes 134 write-ins in Connecticut, 79 in Illinois, 680 in Indiana, 1796 in Ohio, 2595 in Texas, and 32 in Vermont.

  5. The Constitution party now has to reorganize. And do a better job promoting it self to social conservative voters looking for an alternative.

How exactly are you finding the write in votes? I have not been successful at locating any yet. The number of votes I have solely from the 24 states where the CP in on the ballot is 178,517. Both Utah and Washington state still have a significant amount of votes to count. I expect that to increase a littel bit when the official count is released, but not by much. I have not included any write in votes thus far.

  7. Dave Leip has the CP up to 181,000 votes now. Any chance they break 200k when all the write-ins are done being counted?

  8. Do you mean they’re on in the same specific states as in December 2012 (minus Ohio), or just the same number of states from then, Richard?

  9. Lots of States — final official stats for ballot and declared write-in candidates NOT until early Dec — to be ready for the Electoral College hacks to meet on 15 Dec 2016.

Undeclared write-ins — who knows if and when the votes for them get counted ???

Due to the gerrymander hacks — limited election law budgets in many local regimes for counting write-ins.

To respond to your question as to whether or not Castle will reach 200K. It is my hope that we will, but it is still too soon to tell. Currently I show we are at 185,677 votes. Washington State and Utah still have not completed their unofficial vote count and that should add an additional 3,000 or so more votes. Then we have the write in votes to count. We do have at least some write in totals from CT, IN, OH, TX, and VT. If those are the final or partial votes, I am not sure. We also have the following states to report: AL, AZ, DE, FA, IL, KA, KY, ME, MD, MT, NE, NY,OR TN,and VA. In some of those states there was an organized write in effort made by the party leadership. What the policy is in all of those states in actually counting and reporting of those numbers is I am not sure. We will just have to wait an see. However, if we do reach 200K, I believe it will be an all time high record for the party. We will just have to wait for the final vote count to see what happens.

  11. I didn’t vote for Trump and I didn’t vote for Clinton, I voted for the best person running: Darrell Castle. https://ballotpedia.org/Darrell_Castle

Yes, Trump was an imperfect candidate that God could use to change America, but the same thing could be said about Clinton. She was certainly also an imperfect candidate and God could certainly have used her just as he used the Pharaoh to free the Jewish people. So, should we vote for the imperfect candidate who has the best chance to win? If Adolf Hitler, a Democrat, was running against Osama Bin Laden, a Republican, and against the Apostle Paul, an Independent, which one should get our vote? Did Darrell Castle have a chance of winning? Could God have moved people’s hearts to vote for Darrell Castle? Even though Florida is a swing state, I figured the election would not come down to a single vote difference so I decided to vote for the best person and leave the election results up to God.
