That is illegal snooping and the Republican party officials should be investigated by the FBI.Yhat is what the Nixon administration did.

If they are using Facebook or Twitter accounts, who can stop anyone from “snooping” on them?
All the more reason just to be quiet, go in, vote as you intend, and be done with it. Of course, if you are getting calls and they are asking you your intentions, you would have to lie if you don’t want to reveal yourself.
I don’t know the answer to this, but to electors cast their ballots secretly?
In most states presidential electors do not use a secret ballot, but in some states it is secret.
Demand the Attorney General investigate this.The Republican party doesn’t respect privacy.Maybe the electors should vote for Rand Paul.
Heck, I’d take Rand Paul over Trump or Clinton any day. I disagree with his economics, but at least he’s a noted civil libertarian.
I find the article false. The State of Texas like California does not let its Presidential Electors resign for that State
of Texas statewide Office of Profit.

@William Sollenberger: We’re talking about social media, where the persons are making information publicly known to all Facebook or Twitter users. There is nothing illegal here and nothing to investigate because nobody’s privacy is being invaded.

Rand Paul is an interesting option. But, why not encourage wavering electors to vote for Gary Johnson? After all he did get 4.4 million votes. If electors were awarded proportionally to the popular vote, I estimate that Johnson would be entitled to 18-20 electoral votes.

GOP electors across the US have suffered up 6000 to 8000 calls and emails from The loving HiLIAR supporters. Many death threats. And your concerned with the RNC checking that they do their sworn duty by looking on “legal” social media. That’s the criminal clinton mentality. Its’ OK for us to harrass the EC to get our way. First I supported Gary Johnson.My preferred choice would have been Lieutenant colonel James Bo Gritz.Also the Republican party officials should mind their own fascist business on who Republican electors choise to vote for.Republican donors should stop giving money to the Republican party.The FBI should be involved.Social media should be protected with privacy.Republicans never respected privacy.Look at the early 1970s .They continued what Johnson was doing.Nixon was invading the privacy of activities by Vietnam veterans against the war.Also George McGovern supports were spied on .

Trump did have the support of well known white nationalist.So minorities will be harassed and mistreated by the Trump administration.I hope the predictions against Trump will come true.Maybe riots and civil unrest will occur.
