According to this TASS news story, all eight presidential candidates on the ballot in the March 18 Russian presidential election are invited into televised debates. However, incumbent President Vladimir Putin has declined to participate in any debates.

Wait, so all of Putin’s enemies are going to be gathered in one place together and Putin will be absent. I wonder if there’s going to be some “terror attack” or gas main accident.
Putin appears to be acting a lot like many Democrat and Republican candidates here in the US; avoiding debates that aren’t simple 1 vs 1, easily manipulated events. Can’t rule out what Brandon said, but at this point it’s speculation, just like my idea. Time will tell.
