Indiana Bill to Permit “No-Excuse” Absentee Voting Dies in the House

The bill approved by the Indiana Senate to allow anyone to vote absentee, whether they are incapable of going to the polls on election day or not, has died in the House. House inaction also killed another bill, to set up nonpartisan redistricting. See this story.

  1. All elections all the time. Registered voters could accumulate one vote per month, and could vote whenever they wished. Votes might expire after 24 or 48 months. Since voting would be spread out throughout the year there wouldn’t be crowds. When someone reaches 18 or moves into an area they cab begin voting immediately instead of waiting for the next election. If someone dies or moves from the area, they may vote before then.

  2. IF an electronic nomination is now good enough in AZ, then how about electronic elections and even electronic direct Democracy by the Voters — with even more layers of electronic *national security*.
