  1. “Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishment toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.” Quote from web, by Andrew.

  2. Texans should support HB 1996, which let’s all candidates run in the primary, in which all voters may vote. If necessary, there is a runoff.

This is how special elections are run, and how city and school board elections are run.

  3. HB 1996 was a 2017 bill that never made any progress, and the legislature then adjourned, so that bill is dead.

  4. Hmmm — how many States have bills that expire in odd numbered years / ONE year ???

    Most have 2 years — ODD + EVEN – 0r reverse — before expiring ???

  5. The group Texas Voter Choice is advocating for a bill like HB 3068 which in 2017 never made any progress beyond a hearing, and that was because the sponsor was a member of the Elections Committee. The bill is dead.

HB 1996 would reform the election process, HB 3068 would rearrange the deck chairs.
