Colorado held primaries for the Republican and Democratic Parties on June 26. For the first time, independent voters were allowed to vote in either party’s primary.   1. The article didn’t address the issue of an all mail ballot. All unaffiliated voters were sent both ballots and told they could vote either one. They likely were not choosing to participate in a party primary, but simply voting.

    It would simplify matters to adopt Top 2.

  2. More or less incumbent gerrymander hacks won in primary ???

    CO is one of the current few marginal statewide 2 party States —

    ie a target 2020 Prez EC State.
