The Connecticut state court judge who adjudicated the dispute over the legitimate officers of the Independent Party wrote a very comprehensive opinion. It has the entire history of the party.   1. Yes, the judge does indeed present a very nice review of the Connecticut Independence Party’s history.

  2. Connecticut should require all candidates to qualify by petition. For statewide office, 1/10 of 1% of the gubernatorial vote would be 1093 signatures.
