Connecticut Still Hasn’t Determined if Socialist Action Candidate for U.S. Senate Has Enough Valid Signatures

Socialist Action Party submitted almost 11,000 signtures this year to place its nominee for U.S. Senate, Fred Linck, on the Connecticut ballot. The Secretary of State still has not determined whether that petition has enough valid signatures. The requirement is 7,500. See this press release from the Linck campaign. The Secretary of State’s office is not responding to questions about the matter.

  1. I swear, if they decide to they somehow didn’t manage to get the signatures, when they sent 3,000+ more to cover any mistakes, I hope Socialist Action riot. They did the work, let the on the bloody ballot.

Oh, and if you’re a leftist in Connecticut, support Linck. He’s a hell of a lot better option than the Democrat.

  2. I was in SOTS handing in my last signature for the LPCT Gubernatorial petition (Pearl was beside herself when I handed in one signature, my own. She said, “You drove all the way up here from Wallingford?” LOL. I always make her nervous.) when they handed in the petitions. They had a laundry basket full of them. I was impressed with how many they had. I thought for sure they had twice as many than were required.
