NPV = statutory scheme to SUBVERT USA Const 14-1 EPC and 14-2.
— having election results OUTSIDE of a State determine results INSIDE such State.
—
The 1787 USA Const is a LATE DARK AGE document –
written by the gerrymander HACKS in the EVIL ROTTED small/slave States in the top secret Fed Convention.
Result – the 3 ANTI-Democracy minority rule gerrymander systems –
USA H Reps, Senate, Prez-VP/EC.
Now – nonstop UN-declared wars, pending govts bankruptcy, almost DEAD States, all sorts of wannabee KILLER USA Prez TYRANT monarchs, etc.

What nonsense drivel!
Democracy is greatly overrated, a fraud, and dangerous. The Founding Fathers warned us about the idea of democracy. Read one of the Federalist Papers by James Madison which warns us of democracy disintegration into tyranny.
You can find what Mr. Madison was warning us about at https://billofrightsinstitute.org/founding-documents/primary-source-documents/the-federalist-papers/federalist-papers-no-10/
I live in New Mexico. I think it’s foolish for this state to vote the way Mexifornia and Taxachusetts do. But what the hell, states don’t matter anymore.
Democracy = Majority rule – nothing more, nothing less – in law making.
Monarchy/Oligarchy = Minority rule in law making.
Which has killed/enslaved the most in the last 6,000 plus years ???

States don’t matter anymore
— due ONLY to the appointed SCOTUS super-hacks appointed by the USA gerrymander Prez and gerrymander Senate
— esp SCOTUS JUNK / PERVERSION ops about the general welfare and interstate commerce clauses.
Each State continues to be a NATION-STATE — DOI last para, etc., USA Const Art. VII, 1-10, Art IV.
How close are we to npv threshold?
Fantastic! On our way to a truly representative executive branch.
New Mexico’s 5 electoral votes would make it 177 out of the 270 needed.
Colorado’s senate passed the legislation in January and is being debated in the house. Colorado’s 9 votes would bring the total to 186 / 270.
So if this ever does become “passed” it will certainly be taken to court and have to work its way up to SCOTUS. What’s going to happen in the intervening years in each state that signed on. Will some try to enact it and other wait for a decision?
Good luck in the NPV scheme from Hell getting USA gerrymander Congress approval.
I rashly predict INSTANT lawsuits for court injunctions to quickly kill the NPV scheme.

What is the purpose, Currently Democrats out number Republicans anyway. You want to be controlled by California and New York voters.
Why mention New York? New York is only the 4th most populous state. Texas and Florida are numbers two and three.
