Arizona Libertarian Party Submits Letter to Ninth Circuit, Clarifying Point from Oral Argument

On March 19, the Arizona Libertarian Party sent this two-page letter to the three judges who heard its ballot access lawsuit on March 12. The purpose of the letter is to clarify a fact about the case that seemed obscured during the oral argument.

  1. Arizona should require that voters be affiliated in order to sign a candidate petition. They could do like Maine, and permit a voter to affiliate at the time they sign the petition, or do like Texas where signing a petition for primary ballot access is an affiliating act.

    Better yet would be to adopt Top 2.

  2. INDIVIDUAL candidates for each office.

    EQUAL nom pets/filing fees.

    Much too difficult for the M-O-R-O-N lawyers doing ballot access cases and the super-worse judge M-O-R-O-N-S in such cases since 1968

    — stuck/brainwashed in 1890 so-called *thinking*
    — official primaries machinations
    — the 2 alleged major parties, plus add on minor parties plus independents.
